So, how was your weekend? What did you all get up to? I had a delightful weekend and I must say I loved the turn in the weather, with the rain pounding on the roof and bouncing off the windows. The rain always gets me thinking about winter food and rhubarb is one of my all time favourites. I have very fond memories of eating my nan’s yummy apple and rhubarb crumble doused with ice cream. So you can imagine my delight when I stumbled across these Rhubarb and Raspberry tartlets. I’ll definitely be making these very soon! So, what about you? What’s the one food you crave when the rain sets in?

The weather in Perth has really turned in the past week - we’ve had days of rain and I’ve quite enjoyed it! I’ve even been wearing big, comfy jumpers and lighting the lamps throughout the house in the afternoons when the sky is gloomy. The cooler weather and my sudden desire for winter inspired the latest OVM…

Let’s rug up…

And go to a dimly lit cabin in the middle of nowhere, where the stars are a big as balloons and as bright as street lamps…

It will be cold, but that’s OK. We’ll sit by the fire and eat aromatic lamb shank stew followed by Apple tarte tatin
